Job Scope:
- Build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Work with the team to design, develop, perform code review, testing, and maintenance of applications.
- Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into technical designs.
- Collaborate closely with leads to understand tasks, seek clarifications, and propose innovative solutions.
- Implement new changes, prioritizing code quality and comprehensive testing.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies and impact analysis for new features.
- Contribute actively to supporting the production environment and addressing escalated issues when necessary.
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) team in performing support activity for user acceptance testing (UAT) and migration.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on development experience in Java, Spring/SpringBoot framework and any frontend framework.
- A solid grasp of test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for ensuring high code quality and seamless deployment.
- A good understanding of containerization and microservice design, and familiar with Helm and Kubernetes.
- Ability to create unit tests and integration tests.
- Good Agile methodologies background e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc.
- Experience in SHIP-HATS - the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) component within Singapore Government Tech Stack (SGTS).
- Demonstrated work responsibility, excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.
