The Role
- Collaborate with various business units to define, analyze, and provide insights on potential real estate value creation through a unique electrical design strategy, specifically targeting projects in Japan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct design due diligence evaluations for new projects, acquisitions, or asset enhancements.
- Work closely with MEP consultants to develop optimal and efficient electrical design solutions while researching the best strategic outcomes.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and risks at the project inception, and review and advise on the selection of MEP consultants.
- Establish corporate-wide guidelines and processes for electrical systems across different business units while promoting sustainable initiatives.
- Determine design parameters, costs, materials, and technologies to ensure functionality, building efficiency, product quality, and operational expense efficiency.
- Implement processes and guide country teams in adapting these practices at the local level.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant Development and Design experience in HV, LV, and ELV systems, in the execution of Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial and Logistics projects would be a plus
- Ability to create schematic and concept designs for new developments and a good understanding of project management processes.
- Familiarity with Greenmark, LEED, and regional regulations, with a focus on developing sustainable solutions.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge of sustainable development practices.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
