We are partnering with a Global MNC hiring for a Data Centre Procurement Manager . As you will need to liaise directly with stakeholders and counterparts based in China for the following job responsibilities, minimum O level CHINESE A2 and above is required.

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the AI-powered products and services to lead the company's business development strategy
• To oversee the leasing of data centre room resources with the procurement of network, servers, and other equipment
• Able to manage the procurement of key equipment and services including project management and business management. This encompasses schedule management, requirement management, business negotiations, price management, contract management, and issue management during execution.
• Implement procurement cost control targets, aiming to reduce overall procurement costs.
• Analyse market industry information to inform procurement decisions.
• Analyse development trends of relevant technologies and products in the data centre industry to provide insights for procurement strategy formulation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years of business related work experience in data centres.
• Minimum O level of Chinese Language A2 and above is required
• Handling equipment procurement with PMP certification will be an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction architecture and solutions of mainstream manufacturers' data centres.
• Proficiency in the architecture of various subsystems of infrastructure solutions (high and low voltage distribution, HVAC, integrated wiring, weak current monitoring, etc.), with an understanding of the solutions and their advantages and disadvantages from mainstream manufacturers
• Well versed in business coordination and project management skills, capable of formulating and managing category procurement strategies
