Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Mechanical aspects of new initiatives as the project manager.
- Applied Research and Development to design and enhance existing and new products, components, and systems.
- Generate innovative ideas and concepts through thorough research work for new projects.
- Plan, design, and execute research and development projects adhering to established international standards and principles.
- Estimate project costs, required resources, and timelines effectively.
- Document progress and activities throughout the research and development process.
- Prepare technical documentation, including calculations, design drawings, and specifications for prototype development.
- Analyse test results, collaborate with the research and development team, and communicate findings effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and project management.
- Background in designing heavy machinery and/or crane equipment is a plus.
- Practical experience on-site is advantageous.
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling, preferably using Inventor, and knowledgeable in PDM systems.
- Familiarity with GD&T, industrial standards, steel design, welding, DFMA, hydraulics, and transmission design would be a plus
