Job Scope:
Build & Change Management

  • Lead in terms of technology, and conceptualize, propose design and architectural evolution, along with operational model.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality fully tested source code complying with deadlines, schedule, and coding standards.
  • Liaise with business analysts for clarification and understanding of requirements.
  • Provide deployment and change management of the solution / platform.
  • Develop test strategies in coordination with project manager / business analysts.
  • Incidents and requests management from business users and other IT teams.

Communicate Effectively

  • Analyze enhancement requests and bug fixes.
  • Document deliveries.
  • Support applications in production. Analyze and resolve issues as they arise as well as proposed optimizations for future.
  • Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.

Change Management

  • Apply monthly patches, following the team's milestones for analysis, coding and testing.
  • Support the release roadmap in production.
  • Operations management.
  • Level 3 application support.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues.

Continuous Improvement

  • Process improvements.
  • Technology, tools, and infrastructure upgrade.
  • Automation of manual work.
  • Delivery efficiency and quality improvement.

Job Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Liferay Portal framework.
  • Excellent understanding and experience in SOLID patterns, unit testing and integration tests.
  • Good knowledge and experience with the latest and advanced Java technology features, as well as SpringBoot framework.
  • Well-experienced in RESTful APIs design and development with Swagger and OpenAPI standard.
  • Good knowledge and experience in AWS Cloud Fundamentals (Microservice architecture, Docker and Kubernetes, S3 storage, Redshift etc.).
  • Experienced with frontend development with JSPs.
  • Good knowledge and experience in SQL or similar.
  • Experienced with Maven, Git, Gitlab, Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with good fundamentals in complexity analysis.
  • Excellent ability to analyze code e.g., understand execution flow and debug even without access to a debugger.
  • Should have analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset in security, and proven ability to work individually under pressure.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge on Layer7 is advantageous.
