Job Descriptions:
- Oversee and manage construction, A&A, and customer fit-out projects to ensure compliance with company and other relevant EHS standards, statutory obligations, regulatory requirements, and laws throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct semi-annual compliance audits for construction and A&A projects, prepare audit reports, and follow up on findings with the relevant stakeholders until closure.
- Participate in daily Construction/A&A Project Coordination meetings led by the Contractor Project Manager to address all safety concerns related to scheduled activities.
- Compile and prepare monthly safety reports for construction and A&A projects, including key EHS metrics such as man-hours worked, safety compliance status, leading and lagging indicators, and other required information for data consolidation.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on projects and high-risk operational data centre work processes, as well as their associated safety documentation (e.g., risk assessments, safe work procedures, worker competencies, equipment licenses, etc.), ensuring proper oversight of high-risk work execution, which may occur on weekends or after office hours.
- Conduct regular EHS assurance walkdowns, task observations, and inspections for project and operational data centre activities, preparing detailed reports and ensuring actions are followed up and closed.
- Attend all relevant project and operational data centre EHS meetings and reviews, preparing meeting minutes as directed by the Country EHS Manager.
- Support the Country EHS Manager in ISO 45001/BizSafe audits and certifications.
- Plan, develop, and implement EHS programs, procedures, and awareness activities for Singapore data centres.
- Assist with any other EHS-related activities, initiatives, and tasks assigned by the Country EHS Manager for both projects and operational data centres.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or Tertiary Level Qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in EHS management within Construction/Addition & Alteration projects (post-WSHO registration), with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing EHS in operational settings.
- Experience in EHS management within data centres, facility management, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Registration as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with the National Environment Agency (NEA) is a plus.
