Job requirements

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for the COBOL code migration.
  • Analyse existing COBOL applications and identify functionality and data dependencies.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with solution architect, framework team and developers to design migration solutions that align with business needs.
  • Develop documentation outlining the proposed migration strategy.
  • Design the detailed technical solution based on underlying framework and infra architecture
  • Test Suites Documentation and Test Data Mining
  • Document each test case with clear objectives, expected outcomes, and test steps.
  • Regularly review and revise test cases to reflect changes in the project scope or discovered during testing phases per users and ITPM's review.
  • Determine the types of data needed to thoroughly test application functionalities, including boundary value, error value, and standard use case data
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the migration process.
  • Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies.
  • Conduct thorough SIT and support users and ITPM on UAT execution
  • Capable of troubleshooting code-level problems effectively.


Job requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline
  • Min 2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, business interaction.
  • Familiar with Cobol and AWS
  • Experience of end-to-end software development, including testing and deployment
  • Excellent written and oral communications to explain and collaborate on requirements with Product Owners, Support functions, Relationship Managers, Developers, and Testers
