We are looking for a skilled software engineer to research, design, and develop high-quality software solutions. The role involves analyzing user needs, developing specifications, and implementing performance-driven components based on functional requirements.

• Collaborate with engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, participate in technical discussions, and propose solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Contribute to technical design, liaise with business analysts, and ensure seamless alignment with business requirements.
• Responsibilities include drafting technical specifications, conducting peer reviews, creating unit tests, and preparing system integration documents throughout the project lifecycle.
• Responsible for maintaining software quality, updating and enhancing existing capabilities, and overseeing software testing and validation procedures.
• Provide Level 3 support for production applications, analyzing and resolving issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Around 5 years of COBOL development experience
• Proficiency in Micro Focus COBOL, C, Pro*C, Shell scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, GitLab, and Oracle
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Maven
• General knowledge or background in Banking industry
