Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team to ensure high performance, collaboration, and adherence to company standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to build a motivated and effective team.
  • Set clear expectations and goals, providing regular feedback and guidance to foster team growth.
  • Design and innovate the menu to reflect the restaurant's concept and cater to customer preferences.
  • Maintain consistency and high quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Stay informed about culinary trends and integrate them into the menu as appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, promoting best practices in food handling and sanitation.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure continuous compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage food inventory, including ordering, stocking, and waste reduction.
  • Monitor food costs and develop strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients while controlling costs.

Job Requirements:

  • A professional education certificate in Food & Beverage related field
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the same role
  • Good knowledge in Izakaya cuisine, both hot and cold dishes
  • Independent, good influencing skill, operation oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, good food culture awareness
