Responsibilities:
Evaluate Internal Control of Group Companies:
- Conduct work process assessments through audits.
- Plan the scope and schedule of audits.
- Organize and facilitate meetings with auditees.
- Assess work processes and their effectiveness by reviewing evidence and conducting interviews, both online and on-site.
- Lead activities and track progress to ensure audit objectives are met.
- Identify findings with well-founded reasoning.
- Prepare audit reports, findings memos, and working papers, ensuring alignment with audit deliverable standards.
Support Improvement Initiatives for Group Companies:
- Recommend corrective actions for identified findings.
- Collaborate closely with auditees to support the implementation of corrective measures.
- Monitor the progress of remedial actions and provide guidance and consulting.
Recommend and Support Enhancements to Organizational Internal Controls:
- Work with back-office departments to address internal control-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve matters effectively.
Support Headquarters-Led Activities in Japan:
- Assist with J-SOX compliance activities for group companies in Southeast Asia.
- Coordinate with internal auditors in Japan and external auditors to ensure alignment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Undertake additional tasks as required, including ad-hoc and unplanned assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in internal/external audit and/or internal control promotion.
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
- Good knowledge of internal control, auditing techniques, accounting procedures, etc., with a continuous learning attitude.
- Professional attitude emphasizing objectivity, fairness, integrity, and ethics.
