Job Scope:
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies, specializing in Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Core Java. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in REST API and SOAP services, database management with Oracle, and a good understanding of Microsoft Azure. Experience with Version Control Systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools are essential. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work in a collaborative team environment. Prior experience working in the public sector would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L3 support for incident and problem management.
  • Work closely with business users to address queries and resolve issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for key enhancement activities and development tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and debug Java-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Manage and optimize RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Work with Oracle RDBMS, writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Utilize Git for Version Control and follow best practices for source code management.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for efficient application delivery.
  • Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Job Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE development with a focus on Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Core Java.
  • Proficiency in REST API and SOAP web services development.
  • Excellent understanding of RDBMS concepts with hands-on experience in Oracle databases.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Experience with Git and Version Control best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Prior experience in the public sector would be a plus.
  • Experience in L3 application support and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
