Key Responsibilities
Middleware Operations & Support:

  • Provide global production service operations for middleware platforms.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and stability of the BMC Control-M, Axway CFT/Secure Transport, and IBM MQ platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests following ITIL best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the production environment through automation and performance enhancements.
  • Perform technical analysis to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Work collaboratively with development, project, and business teams to support project deliverables.
  • Develop self-service interfaces and workflows for middleware platforms.


Technical Expertise & Project Involvement:

  • Participate in strategic projects and initiatives involving BMC Control-M, Axway CFT, and IBM MQ.
  • Work on middleware platform enhancements and automation using tools such as Ansible, Rundeck, and GIT.
  • Support the further development of middleware platforms and their interfaces.
  • Operate and maintain middleware monitoring and analytics tools such as OMI, ServiceNow, and Geneos.
  • Contribute to DevOps transformation by implementing automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in middleware operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux, Unix, and/or Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with middleware technologies:
  • BMC Control-M (scheduling & automation)
  • Axway CFT/Secure Transport/Sentinel
  • IBM MQ


Technical Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring & data analytics tools: OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos.
  • Scripting skills: Java, Unix Shell, Python, PowerShell, Perl.
  • Understanding of ITIL Service Management framework (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Experience with DevOps & automation tools:
  • Kubernetes, Ansible, ElasticSearch, Rundeck, GIT.


Soft Skills & Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work shifts and on-call rotations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Customer-oriented mindset and team player.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
