Responsibilities
- Collaborate with company to align on overarching product strategy.
- Define and implement product initiatives to ensure market competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate the launch timelines for new models, engines, and transmissions in consultation with company
- Develop market introduction plans, including volume projections and model mix strategies.
- Determine pricing strategies for new models, model year changes, inflationary adjustments, and market repositioning-based on detailed equipment comparisons with competitor offerings.
- Oversee the pricing process, ensuring responsiveness to market dynamics while maintaining competitive index positioning.
- Calculate pricing for diplomatic, corporate, and staff sales.
- Maintain responsibility for price index management.
- Provide comprehensive product support to importers.
- Conduct regular market segment analyses.
- Prepare and deliver routine pricing reports.
- Update master launch plans on a quarterly basis.
- Compile and present a variety of product and pricing reports.
- Perform in-depth competitor analysis.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification is required-such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent credential
- Well verse in understanding of automotive technologies and product development.
- Well verse in negotiation skills, critical for successful outcomes.
- Passion for the automotive industry
