Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Initiation:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Identify and allocate necessary resources

2. Team Management:

• Assemble and lead the project team, including data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members

3. Communication and Coordination:

• Facilitate regular communication and updates with stakeholders
• Organize and conduct project meetings and progress reports
• Ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines

4. Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Continuously monitor risk factors and adjust plans as needed

5. Budget and Resource Management:

• Create and manage the project budget
• Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints
• Manage resources, including data infrastructure and external vendors

6. Quality Control:

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
• Implement and oversee quality assurance and control processes
• Conduct quality reviews and facilitate necessary improvements

7. Project Closure:

• Ensure all project tasks and objectives are completed successfully
• Conduct project evaluations, document lessons learned, and prepare closure reports
• Deliver final project deliverables to stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in data engineering or related fields
• Good understanding of data engineering principles, tools, and technologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
  PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus
