You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

  • To implement and manage project related to Urban Rail Signalling in accordance with contractual requirements and company processes. Furthermore, to be charged with overall performance/schedule compliance, cash flow and budget of the project while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained
  • To strategically manage client's expectations and wants with respective to what is achievable within company's overall business
  • To lead the team to create an appropriately detailed schedule and then use that schedule and critical path to manage the execution of the project.
  • To evaluate the need for "out of scope" work in-light of strategic project additional opportunities. Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure no unauthorized work is being conducted
  • To be able to evaluate and report on project "Estimates to Complete" in accordance with company practices thus providing clarity on cost exposures and future labour needs
  • To possess an ability to review and input into the project Risk register. Once risks are established, to be accountable for decisions on expenditures of mitigation actions to support the most advantageous option for the company and project's benefit and success
  • To possess the ability to share vision and demonstrate direction from a leadership perspective, thus fostering a path for the whole project team. Furthermore to show strength with compassion creating an environment where the project team is motivated and focused on the objective
  • To display communications skills ensuring clarity with senior management, the client and the project team
  • To lead and challenge the project team globally (i.e. disciplines, interfacing contractors, key suppliers & subcontractors, intragroup project teams) to exceed the execution baseline on the merit of critical path and cost competitiveness
  • To achieve coherent execution plan for several interrelated contracts, with prioritization and conflict resolution, seek out execution synergy, anticipate and proactively close out potential issues
  • To manage bids and proposals to customer's new request in relation to the assigned project, support client's scoping and budgeting exercise, shape execution baseline, solidify quality of estimate and commitment control, and drive technical and price negotiation until contract award


You have:

  • Degree or Diploma from either a Business or Technical/Engineering background
  • 5-10+ years in railway transportation industry or from Technical/Engineering field
  • 5-10+ years as a Project Manager with People Management / Leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to execute according to plan and deliver measurable results in a timely manner
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Lead by example, build and manage a team
  • Being able to make it happen: think strategically, translate ideas to impact, actively coaching a multidisciplinary team
