Job Description

  • Provide day to day operation support in area of Quality Management (QM), Production Planning (PP), and its corresponding authorization to ensure smooth daily operation.
  • Identify gaps, issues and workaround solutions. Creating functional requirements as an input to application design, assist with build, test, and deploy activities for QM and PP modules.
  • Work closely with business process owners and local users to ensure compliance to DyStar global business processes.
  • Provide support to AMS vendor to ensure their solutions meeting DyStar business processes.
  • Troubleshoot ABAP programs and assist business users in decision making.
  • Actively involved in QM and PP related projects and meet the projects timeline.
  • Setup authorization roles, grant users' access and ensure proper approval process is followed
  • Other adhoc projects and responsibilities assigned by SAP Manager or IT Director.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information System, Info-communications, Science or its equivalent
  • At least 8-9 years of relevant SAP QM and PP, authorization experience in manufacturing environment (Chemical industry) and SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4 HANA.
  • Have integration working experience and knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules.
  • Preferable SAP certification in QM/PP module and basis knowledge in SAP report development (ABAP) and form development.
  • Must have at least two full life-cycle SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 and / or SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live) or greenfield implementation
  • Understanding of QM and PP functionalities and able to apply them to business issues and have hands-on experience in configuring them. Should have good integration experience in SD/MM/PP. Knowledge of integration between IBP, BW and ECC.
  • Ability to analyse problems and provide clear recommendations.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload with little to no supervision.
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be familiar with process and project documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude - adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
