We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer (Governance & Complaince) to oversee the planning, implementation, and operation of network infrastructure in a dynamic banking environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, lead cross-functional collaborations, and manage vendors to deliver robust, secure, and efficient network solutions.


Job Responsibilities

Network Optimization & Management:

  • Analyze network traffic, address bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Supervise the Network Operations team, ensuring adherence to SLA and KPI standards.
  • Maintain the design and architecture of the network for scalability, reliability, and security.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure APAC network compliance with bank rules and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish and enforce operational procedures and manuals for networks.
  • Develop and present network performance reports to management.

Audits & Collaboration:

  • Participate actively in network audits and coordinate with cross-functional teams for planning and service matters such as DR drills, lifecycle management, and privilege access management.

Vendor & Budget Management:

  • Manage vendors and service providers to ensure reliable services and cost efficiency.

Oversee CAPEX and OPEX budget planning related to network operations.


Skills and Qualifications


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years as a Network Operations Lead or Senior Network Engineer.
  • 8-10 years in network planning, design, and implementation, preferably in banking or financial institutions.

Certifications:

  • Mandatory: CCNP/CCDP, ITIL (or equivalent).
  • Desirable: CCIE certification.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in IP routing, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QoS, and VPC.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, or equivalent systems.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance.

Soft Skills:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale network deployments.
  • Expertise in technical writing and documentation.
