Job Description/Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Define the top level system specifications based on marketing requirements
- Identify system architecture choices and lead down-selection process
- Help build system performance model and error budget, allocate requirements to the subsystems, optimize hardware/software solutions.
- Create test plans, define required HW/SW setups, lead test design efforts and manage execution
- Develop technical material for internal and external consumption
- Expand patent portfolio
- Coach team members
Requirements:
- Experience leading R&D or engineering team with demonstrated success
- Solid theoretical and experimental knowledge of physical optics, optical metrology, light sources and sensors, data analysis, signal processing
- Expertise in at least two of the following: optical microscopy, optical design, EM modeling, optical metrology, optical design, interferometry, ellipsometry, scatterometry, laser physics
- Hands-on skills in optical setups and willingness to use them
- Data analysis, physics and system modeling capability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
