Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage the end-to-end software development and support for respective applications, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and support.

  • As Technical Manager, ensure the quality assurance of team deliverables in accordance with the defined software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology, tools, and output.

  • Plan technical deliverables, including system enhancements and upgrades, to meet project requirements within the allocated budget and schedule.

  • Collaborate with different application teams and/or surrounding platforms to manage technical dependencies of the solution.

  • Plan, monitor, and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.

  • Provide status updates related to technical delivery to the Project Manager.

  • Work closely with System Analysts, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather, understand, and finalize functional and technical requirements.

  • Provide system input during the specification phase, including effort estimates and high-level delivery plans based on impact assessments.

  • Partner with the development manager to manage application teams in building enhancements.

  • Partner with the test manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance testing, and security testing with quality results.

  • Prepare and manage the technical implementation plan across application teams, coordinating technical implementation activities to ensure smooth production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.

  • Escalate issues impacting the project schedule on time and propose workarounds/solutions.

  • Provide timely updates and reports to the Project Manager and senior management.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • At least 10 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within the financial industry and payment domain.

  • Leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams and implementing large-scale projects.

  • Experience in system development, including functional and technical specifications, and system development.

  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, MS Project, Excel, and Visio.

  • Good understanding and experience in the software development cycle (Waterfall or Agile best practices).

  • Highly effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Good problem-solving, analytical, system thinking, and solutioning skills.

  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in vendor project management.

  • Experience in vendor product management.
