Job scopes

• Lead the end-to-end deployment and delivery of IT infrastructure for projects, encompassing deployment planning, environment setup and testing, pre-production readiness, and production cutover.
• Ensure smooth transition from project implementation to operational support prior to project closure.
• Understand the project's solution, scope, and deliverables; review implementation and cutover strategies to execute a successful production cutover.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Application Teams, Infrastructure SMEs, and external service providers to meet project objectives and timelines, while proactively addressing and escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare and submit required change requests and requisitions for infrastructure deployment, including facility/VM requests, IP/DNS/hostname assignments, SAN requisitions, etc.
• Deploy infrastructure in compliance with the bank's policies, standards, and approved solution designs.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks encountered during project deployment, driving timely resolution.
• Meet target SLAs for infrastructure provisioning and ensure project deployments are completed as per the agreed schedule and project plan.
• Ensure Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness in accordance with the bank's policies.
• Interface with Infrastructure, Project Management, and Application Development teams to ensure infrastructure setup readiness.
• Demonstrate familiarity with the Vulnerability Threat Management (VTM) process, including tracking and reporting remediation timelines and overall VTM schedule adherence.

• Responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of Middleware components.
• Manage firewall change requests to meet application requirements, as well as DNS and Server Load Balancer (SLB) configurations.
• Support Akamai configurations for existing URLs, including DNS updates, firewall changes, and Link Proof modifications.
• Perform IHS-related changes such as proxy configuration, SSL protocol disabling, cipher updates, and associated Change Requests (CRs).
• Provide 24x7 support for UAT and production environments in the GZ region.
• Address penetration test vulnerabilities and implement necessary fixes.
• Lead patch management activities across platforms, ensuring timely deployment of critical patches with proper planning.
• Provide support for End-of-Support (EOS) and End-of-Life (EOL) system upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• At least 10+ years of working experience, preferably in banking environments.
• Expertise in Apache, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere , IBM IHS , IIS Administration.
• Proficient in Middleware technologies, including JBOSS, Apache, WebSphere Application Server, and IBM HTTP Server (IHS).
• Must have operational experience, preferably in support of critical application systems
• Must have excellent infrastructure/technical background with knowledge on Open Systems platform, Firewall and load balancer, and moderate information security knowledge
• Have good leadership skills in working with application teams and service providers in defining infrastructure deployment plan, cutover/migration strategy and test plan.
• Have a good understanding of ITIL processes
