Job Description

• Lead the execution of physical and derivative trades for thermal and metallurgical coal (Source, price, and negotiate contracts).
• Manage the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, ensuring profitability and efficiency. Handle contract negotiations, ensuring all terms align with business objectives.
• Monitor and manage market exposure to optimize trade positions and mitigate risks. Implement risk management strategies in line with market trends and dynamics.
• Build and manage relationships with key clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders. Develop and execute strategies to grow the client base and increase market share.
• Stay ahead of global coal market trends, regulations, and competition. Use market intelligence to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, particularly in niche markets within the carbon space.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within the Trading / Commodities industries.
• Prior experience in sourcing and managing coal markets will be highly advantageous.
• Possess in-depth experience of niche opportunities within the carbon space.
• Proficient with commodity trading platforms and exposure management tools.
• Possess excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
