Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead sub-teams in the end-to-end actuarial pricing process, including premium and benefit pricing, actuarial assumption setting, profitability testing, product system implementation, and user acceptance tests.
- Support Products, Distribution, and Policy Servicing teams with client requests, including policy statement updates, post-sales illustrations, channel incentive analysis, and marketing campaign setup.
- Participate in risk management and control projects, including insurance risk review, operational risk management, and strengthening financial risk controls.
- Involve in non-product development activities such as periodic experience studies updates, financial stress tests, board reports, regulatory initiatives, systems infrastructure upgrades, sales tools, and marketing support.
- Support the Head of Pricing in safeguarding the financial health of the insurance company, protecting policyholders' interests, and ensuring statutory responsibilities under the Insurance Act are met.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Qualified or close-to-qualified actuary from a recognized actuarial examination body.
- At least 8 years of relevant actuarial experience.
- Experience with Prophet and Stochastic modelling would be good to have.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Sharp communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability in planning and problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly evolving priorities.
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with key stakeholders.
