At ManpowerGroup, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to be a positive contributor to societal change.

 

In fact, the recent Jobs_that_makesense Asia x Manpower report titled “The quest for meaning at work” revealed that 73% of Singaporeans take into consideration the company’s reputation for social responsibility when deciding to work for them.

 

A large part of that social responsibility includes Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). That means intentionally building diverse workplaces by hiring employees based on talent without discrimination, as well as creating a workplace culture that supports people feeling comfortable bringing their full selves to work.

 

The power of inclusive language at work can't be overstated. It can make all the difference for LGBTQIA+ colleagues, fostering a sense of belonging, value, and inclusion.
